Terms & Conditions
Introduction
The address http://www.sloow.benu.lu (www.benusloow.lu) is an Internet-accessible website of BENU Village Esch asbl, whose registered office is at 50, rue des Celtes, L-1318 Luxembourg. The present terms of use define the conditions and modalities according to which users may use the services of the website, such as the possibility of making online reservations for the BENU SLOOW restaurant.
Restaurant BENU SLOOW
The BENU SLOOW restaurant uses "rescued" food for the preparation of its dishes and products. This is surplus food that would be thrown away even though it has a sufficiently long shelf life, is of high quality and complies with EU standards. BENU SLOOW strives for an 80% share of "rescued" food as ingredients for the preparation of its dishes and products. Neither meat nor fish is served. In addition to vegetarian dishes, the restaurant also offers purely vegan dishes. All ingredients used come from controlled ecological agriculture and, if possible, from local production. Dogs - with the exception of assistance and disabled companion dogs - are not allowed in the BENU SLOOW restaurant.
Table d'Hôtes
In its initial phase, the BENU SLOOW restaurant will start with a table d'Hôtes. This welcomes guests on the dates indicated on the homepage. Participating in the Table d'Hôtes is only possible with prior reservation. Reservations can be made online using the reservation form or by calling +352 27 38 01-81. The table d'Hôtes accepts a maximum of 12 people at a time, who will be served a daily changing, multi-course vegetarian menu together at one table. Children up to 12 years receive a 50% discount on the experience menu. However, no special children's menu is offered. The price for persons over 12 years is per person
- • without drinks: 140 euros
- • with selected alcoholic beverages: 190 euros
- • with selected non-alcoholic beverages: 170 euros
Restaurant "à la carte"
Following the Table d'Hôtes offer, the BENU SLOOW restaurant opens as a regular "à la carte" restaurant. The restaurant can be visited either with or without prior reservation during the specified opening hours. Reservations can be made by calling +352 27 38 01-81 or by emailing info@benusloow.lu. The restaurant offers a daily changing menu with different vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Reservation
When making a reservation for the Table d’Hôtes, the client enters his/her first name, surname, phone number and e-mail address, selects the desired date and indicates the number of guests. The client is obliged to provide BENU with up-to-date, complete and correct information when making the reservation. BENU must therefore be informed of any changes. By making a reservation, the client agrees to the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy of BENU. The client will receive a confirmation by e-mail. BENU is entitled to demand a reasonable advance payment or security deposit from the customer in the form of a credit card guarantee, a deposit or similar.
Cancellation of a reservation
The reservation at the Table d'Hôtes can be cancelled at least 4 working days before the reserved date by calling +352 27 38 01-81 or sending an e-mail at info@benusloow.lu. If the cancellation is made later, i.e. less than 4 working days before the reserved date, or not at all, BENU may charge the customer for any expenses incurred.
